Data flow & resources management - applications on demand.
Project Description

This is another one of the most relevant jobs I have got so far.

ADOP sp. z o.o. was a small company from Torun which hired 3 programmers at that time. It created applications according to companies' requests.

All of the created applications were big ERP, work- and document-flow as well as resource and energy management ones.
At the beginning, I was hired to develop a Silverlight application for data flow purposes.
All other applications on demand I created in MS Access and VBA as an interface, MySQL as a database.

The final project I developed was the one created for two big national companies:

  • the first application for production and resource management,
  • the other one for energy production and costs management.
I was the person who together with the boss of ADOP was implementing the system in both companies which were fairly new experience for me as I had never done anything in that matter before.

My determination, a hard work till the late hours (as I worked about 11 hours a day for the last two weeks of the project), experience in creating database applications done the job. As a polite, helpful and open person, I helped contractor's employees during the implementation of new systems.

We finished the project with a great success but it was a very hard time for me. Still, I enjoyed the possibility to create such big projects, I really liked having contact with final users by obtaining their opinions and sharing my knowledge with them.
